Should I Upgrade to 2GB or 3GB of RAM for P4 Machine?

If you don't mind losing the dual channel, slap the 1 GB in there with whatever else is in there. Don't remove anything if you have slots available. Guide your decisions based on your impressions from that change.

I went ahead and stuck with dual channel.
Seems pretty zippy now :)
This should keep me running on this machine for a while longer.
