Why would I want to play on a handheld when the big TV is right there?

Plenty of reasons. Portability being the biggest.

If I'm gaming, I'm at home so that's not too much of a concern. Besides, a true controller will be significantly more comfortable than a 3DS XL.

You got me on the VC release. Though I was talking more about the updated graphics and whatever other enhancements come with the new release.

and, stripping it of that and selling it would be weird, as I doubt that many changes have been made to the game. The VC release on the Wii is already more polished than the original iirc.

Well the 3D makes me instantly nauseated, so I never use it. I actually forget that it has that feature sometimes haha. If the 2DS had existed when I bought my 3DS and had been a clamshell design, I definitely would have bought that.

In its native state, I agree. With a cyber grip though, the XL is might comfy.

Thanks for pointing that out, I just ordered one. That looks like it fixes all the issues I have with holding the 3DS. Maybe it'll give me an excuse to finally finish Link Between Worlds.

It's extremely comfortable, worth every penny, you'll see. I wish there was something like it for the DS Lite, but not that I've found.

I wanted to get one but the ones for the regular 3DS are out of stock...well i'll just pay with my hands hurting i guess.

For the original 3DS, this would be the next best thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's hands hurt after holding these flat portables for more than 15 minutes.
