Does your state require a photo ID to vote? Don't vote!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That's just it, forums always have a place for this kinda stuff, but when i click SHOW NEW POSTS, i see this shit, and there isnt an option to block certain threads all together or sub-forums.

When i click SHOW NEW POSTS, i dont want to be reminded what shitty world we live in.

I visit http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/ daily, and at least half the recent forum posts at the top are political.

Can we please not turn Racketboy into that, let this be a place of Gaming news and talk.
A) Just do not read them, no one is forcing you.

B) This is what makes racketboy so interesting for me. The members are way older than your average video game forum and since we got to know each other over gaming discussions, it's interesting to learn what everyone's opinion on random subjects is.

C) We keep it civilized anyway, so I don't see why it should be discouraged

D) Don't dictate what content should be on a forum.

&

2) Have you read these threads? They are hardly "political".

E) Just kidding about D.

F) OP is a master at making these kind of threads and then abandoning them.

I would like my threads to be divided into blocks as well. This way I could choose which sections I wanted to participate in. I think that would be a nice addition. +1

Gay people should have their own IDs stating that they're gay.

Only 63 degrees today. Should be 103 according to the global warming crowd.

DAMN YOU OBAMA!!!

We can just add markings to their IDs to make it easier to tell apart with one glance.

I really think any place under US law (states, territories, DC) should have free gov't issued IDs with their basic info and a photo like Wisconsin does for free. They should be presented when doing anything that's officially government related such as voting. If you're going to be playing part in voting for someone who will be sitting in a place of government power you need to be a citizen to have that ability. There's no need to have special tags for mental problems, physical disabilities, or the rest. With the IDs being free to any citizen who has a valid social security number there's no way any voter should be disenfranchised from voting other than some personal paranoia about having the ID, that's on you as a choice. I get the liberal slant of it looking like it targets the poor which they crow but if the ID is free you can't play the poor card anymore with that one. If people can be bused in for free to help gin up votes for politicians, they can bused to a location to get a free ID made up on the spot. Drivers licenses in my state are $20 and they're photographed and printed on an ID in a matter of minutes here so there's no excuse if you take the cash out of it.

Impossible.

If he's in the right state he'll need an ID to buy the weed.

If he's in the wrong state he'll need to show an ID when he gets caught smoking it.

I am glad he's not voting.
