How do people live without medical insurance?

I would expect to pay $500 for all that.

I'd move to a non 3rd world country with universal health care..... so basically any OECD country except the USA

I think that is a horse that needs more beating. When Americans stop acting as if free health care is communism and it's good to pay more than most other countries for medical services, maybe then....

If we give health care to "the poors" then they might demand things like day off to recuperate and we won't be able to work them to death. How else can we keep costs down after unions forced a minimum wage on things?
