Son of a ... I hadn't powered up the PS4 in quite awhile. I did so to download Strider ... and there's a Destiny Alpha invite sitting there.

I'm not too keen on the game, but I'd like to try it.

I don't think I want to pre-order it, though.

2. Get code emailed to you
3. Cancel Amazon order
4. Try Beta next week

I watched a little gameplay and I don't understand the hype for this title...?

Does not look all that interesting, tbh.

Have you played it? Do you like the genre? Do you enjoy Halo? Borderlands?

It's certainly not something that everyone will necessarily enjoy, but if you like FPS titles that have RPG elements, I can't see why you wouldn't enjoy this.

Beta starts today :)

No, I haven't had a chance to play it. That's why I watched videos.
Yes, I like shooters. Halo is great. Did not care for Borderlands.

Is it an open-beta and is the beta on Xbox One? I'd be willing to give it a shot if that's the case.

The Beta is on the Xbox One in a week or so, starts on PS4 today. If you preorder the game you get a code. May as well preorder at someplace like Amazon (no charge 'til shipped), get the code and try the beta, and then cancel the order if you don't like it.

What time are they expecting to send the Beta codes? Guess I'm being a little impatient here, but still, hurry up! :lol:

not sure. it starts at 10AM PDT, so I'd guess around then.

I figure I'll be downloading the files most of the day and, hopefully , playing it tonight.
