Eight minutes if you've played it before.
I was including playing a and b mode luke. I always played a and b versions on those old nes carts
Well, one can argue that you can't beat Kung-Fu, as it loops.
Good point Luke. It's also the same with games like Popeye, donkey Kong, etc.

Has anyone ever beat double dragon for the nes under 20 min? I beat it but takes me 1/2 hr or more.

It's a short game if you don't die, but my sleep schedule doesn't agree with me and I'm making progress way too slowly

Shinobi (3DS) on normal is about as easy as Ninja Gaiden (NES). You get unlimited continues in that game too...(BTW, Shinobi (3DS) is an awesome game. It is a must-have for any red-blooded, 3DS-owning member of this forum.)

Also - and while I appreciate this thread - I think it would be more interesting if we limited the discussion to games from the 32-bit era forward. (In my experiience, almost every non-RPG 8-bit and 16-bit game can be completed in a single sitting.)

Shiniobi 3DS seems like a much fairer game to me. No birds knocking you into pits, pixel-perfect jumps, and such. I'm on the airplane level...too bad you couldn't control the missile while you rode it.

OP, play that if you have a 3DS!

Super Mario Bros on NES woud qualify here if the warp zones are used :)
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)
