I think I just got two guest passes with the game. I can see myself dumping a ton of time into the game. It's pretty fun.flex wood wrote:So I just bought killing floor from humble for 5 bucks but after redeeming it on steam it says it's a guest pass. Anyone know the deal with that?

Re: General PC game discussion thread
Killing Floor needs atleast two other players to be fun. Three players and the game is awesome. Six and it gets down right brutal. Mountain Pass, West London, and Icebreaker, are my favorite maps. I usually play big game hunter (Sniper), though I have level 4 or above in everything but Commando. Demo is my favorite to play (which should be obvious based on my map choices...

I purchased the game I mentioned in the first post... Rain Blood Chronicles: Mirage
It's.. a game. It could be fun, but the bugs are annoying me. The game skips every 8 or so seconds for no good reason. And my gamepad inputs randomly decide not to work sometimes. Is it possible to get refunds on Steam?

Re: General PC game discussion thread
I just started playing Thomas Was Alone and it's beautiful. One of those games I may have passed up, but was gifted a copy and for that I am thankful. Wow.

Looks like there's a nice indie sale @ http://www.hugeseal.com/
Unfortunately, I can't get the site to work enough to actually make any purchases. Maybe tomorrow. Just trying to pick up Trine 2 and maybe a few others.

Re: General PC game discussion thread
Yes, get Trine 2! Awesome game. I've been looking for the physical version for some time, unfortunately it's PAL-only.
Re: General PC game discussion thread
So wait they are letting us choose 5 free games from that list? If that's the case no wonder why I can't even load the site.
Re: General PC game discussion thread
No. Not 5 free. They are discounted. In addition there is a buy 3 get 1.

Sweet! I'm going with Jamestown, Mark of the ninja, Monaco and Terraria.\ZenErik wrote:No. Not 5 free. They are discounted. In addition there is a buy 3 get 1.
Edit: I didn't realize that it was a random game from the list. I ended up with Reus. Not sure if I can just give someone else the code or not but if anyone wants it let me know.
Re: General PC game discussion thread
I picked up Trine 2, The Swapper, and Jamestown. Trine was my free game.
May also get some more. Mark of the Ninja and the Legend of Grimrock look good.
