Another gem - I beat this one on 360 last year and it's one of the most underrated platformers of this gen. It shouldn't be too expensive on either the Xbox or PS3 right now, but that will likely change in the future.Damm64 wrote:I was this close to say something like this... past me just beat me...Damm64 wrote: We should made this the "oficial thread" of forgoten games of this gem and keep a list in order to avoid clone topics.
So yeah i think demon and dark souls should not be on a lit tittled "forgotten games".
I feel alice madness returns will be forgotten, it already is. I really really really need to get a copy of this.

I do not worry too much about games that got a PC port because I know they will always be around digitally (no shipping fees for me!) and usually they prices go down with special offers and sales. Games like Folklore and Bayonetta I worry more about because prices tend to go over their original factory sealed price and I have to pay for shipping.
How does Alice compare to the original? I always wanted to play the original but its not on steam. Not sure if the new one is a "bigger better" version or completely new thing. Did it even sell well?

I thought Madness Returns was decent, but that stages tended to drag on far too long, and wind up just being kind of grindy. It shines when it's doing new/unique stuff, not while pumping peppercorns into generic flying blob #293.
The console versions have the original version included as a download voucher (intended as a benefit for buying new), but you can buy it as DLC later as well. EA offered a similar thing via a Complete Collection on Origin at one point, but no longer do (it's listed on Amazon though).

Re: Forgotten games this generation
I would say a forgotten game is a game that was great but no one paid attention to it due to lack of marketing or low sales. It also can be a game that was released early in the generation where the flood of amazing games that came after it made it sound like a distant memory.
I remember Kameo, PGR, and King Kong had good reviews at launch of the 360 but people will simply forgot about them.
