Yup. I think that's why the weighted, dual-level scoring system that I outlined near the beginning of the thread should be a good compromise.

I think that it would be best. Sort of like amazon, but a bit more in depth better. Even if you let users only vote out of five, the scores would average out to give you a score out of ten/100 anyway (with enough votes anyways).
