My question is what are the "first release"ps4s coming with? I just noticed my amazon reserve is the "launch" edition. Anyone know what these are about? Are the first preorders at gamestop the same?

Looks like it is the same but launch edition is guaranteed. Standard might not be ready on launch day.

Goto the ps4 link and click the different editions, at the top it will tell you which one you ordered. thats how i just saw what mine was, thru me off for a second. Thought maybe there would be a free gift or something hehe. I placed my amazon order on the 10th when there was only one option as well.

Yeah they sold out quick, due to the chance thats why I went to gamestop, was the first in the door and the first preorder at my location, I WILL NOT! Not be online on day one teehee

Amazon pre-orders aren't charged until they're shipped. You could place one now while they're still available and save up the money in the coming months.
