Together RPG - SRPG Shining Force 2

I will probably get started on Shining Force II sometime this evening. Played it quite a few times, but I don't remember how far I've gotten.

I just played through this game earlier this year, so I'm going to be a bit perverse and play Shining Force 3 instead. I'll be with you all in spirit: future spirit--. Future-past spirit? --Something.

Presentation in SF2 is much improved over the original, though. That has to be said. I much prefer the soundtrack, character designs and color palette.

By the way, has anyone ever recruited Filder? (Second bird-person.) And even though I found the fairy in the half-lings village, I was never able to find the fairy forest. Where is that thing?

The second bird is Skreetch in the US translation. I've recruited him, but not without knowing the requirements to do so.

I'm sure I'll use a guide for this and play on actual hardware. Whats the best site to use with an Ipad, one preferrably with pictures and maps not just text only gamefaqs.

There are a few secret or easy to miss characters and some specialty items to find, but compared to some others, not too much of a need for a guide.

If you arent good with SRPGs you may consider it on easy. To most it will be a cake walk. Normal difficulty is a bit on the easy side as well for most who are experienced at SRPGs, but I believe hard and above are quite a significant jump in difficulty.

I beat both the fire emblems on the GBA so I cant be that bad at SRPGs haha but i needed a guide to figure out who could recruit who. Is it like Fire emblem where a certain character has to talk to someone to recruit them?

Nope. You actually adventure around in this like a normal RPG. So you discover the new characters that way.

If you can beat Fire Emblem, you can beat this on normal or easy no problem.

Started playing this evening, and I'm up to the part where I got captured by Galam soldiers. The strange thing is that I have lost nearly every battle, and it's strange because that's never happened to me before this early in the game.
