Hmm…is the PC version superior in any way? Is the 3D on the 3DS very well done? Is there online co-op on any of the platforms?

No idea if PC is superior, from what I hear it is basically the same game across the platforms.

I read that when you die, your money is dropped. You have to make it back to the spot you died to retrieve the money. This is how it is Souls-like. Also, it's probably pretty hard.

This is only the current differences, they still have to add some of the stuff from the stretch goals, like the multiplayer and that's going to only be on PC and Wii u.

I think I'll snag this on Wii U.
I like having stuff on PC, but if it's digital only, I'll just wait to get that when it's super cheap. Throw some money down on the Wii U version now (soon) in the mean time.

I think it looks great, and reviews are through the roof from trusted sources (Poygon, Kotaku, etc) so I will be grabbing it. Probably wait til it's under $10.
