From what I have read, Shadow Warrior is a whole lot less old school, and shares much more in common with the dev's other title. "Hard Reset", than it does with the old Shadow Warrior. A lot of people seem to be having lots of fun with it though.

I'm not sure why it's apparently so hard to have a true throwback FPS. I guess Serious Sam has still probably been the best answer.

The new Shadow Warrior looks... okay, but too much filler as always with things like this most of the time. Let the storyline be picking up more badass guns, blowing monsters up, and finding the key to open that door.

Having seen the intro sequence to the new Shadow Warrior, I'm actually quite excited. Just picture Lo Wang singing along to Stan Bush - The Touch. I want to know, is the new Lo Wang voice actor James Hong? It really sounds like him to me.

They just released a massive 2GB patch on Steam. I would list the changelog here, but they have fixed hundreds of bugs as well as releasing a 5 Map DLC Pack, for free.

If you own the game, let it download the update and we can finally dig into the game we bought.
