So, I have these bad boys:

I mostly use it for shmups, with which I have no problem at all, but I'm wondering what might be optimal - but still cheap - for fighting games? My hand cramps too much playing with a gamepad (granted I only have model 1 controller, not model 2), and I'm not entirely digging this stick for fighters. Better than a pad, sure, but I think there could be better without spending $100+ for a stick. Thoughts?

Just spend the money for a good stick. If you get or make something with sanwa parts (or even Happ), it will likely last you a lifetime, and button replacements are a couple bucks a piece if you ever wear one out.
