I've owned SVC Chaos for MVS twice, boots both times (before I got in the habit of asking for board pics from unknown sellers). Still looking for an original.

Didn't know you had the Neo Candy as well as an Egret II, yr doing quite alright!

I almost bought that exact cab, but I wasn't thrilled about the cosmetic condition. It had quite a few dents and dings from the pics I saw. I'm glad the monitor is crisp though.

You're not in Cali anymore, Brad! You'll be waiting a lifetime for a minty Neo Candy in the North East US

Honestly, there's really nothing that "stands out" or bugs me cosmetically, other than the missing artwork. For a 20 year old metal cabinet that traveled here from Japan, I think it looks pretty damn good.

It's the E2 that needs a respray

@Mike - Yeah, man. I keep telling myself I'm set on cabs for a while. It's bad, though. Seeing that East Coast group buy made me look around my house to see where I could squeeze a NAC

If I want one bad enough I can get my west coast contacts to ship me almost anything. I'm waiting to see how this group buy unfolds. I want a 6 button cab to run cps2 and other boards more than a neo cab at the moment.

Sure, I get that. Especially since you've already got the analogue interactive cmvs...
No interest in going the Supergun -> PVM route?
idchappy's Vogatek Superguns seem like a decent cheap alternative

I would only buy the supergun modeled after the blast city or a sigma raijin, no substitutions

I think IDChappys product is super cool to wade into the hobby, or for testing boards, but not much more than that. Too compact to consolize, have to mess w/RGB knobs game to game an TV to TV, obviously would require an extender harness too, just so many wires coming out of such a small open-air device etc.

I have (2) Sigma Raijins and swear by them. I had a Sigma AV7000 which was outstanding, but the second joystick runs another $150 and it's a proprietary input best I can tell - i've seen talk of adapters, but never anything actually out there? Someone correct me if i'm wrong....

I've not had a Blast City Gun, the few i've seen in pics look pretty decent. Have the control panel installed and legit JP controls is huge, plus a legit encoder = plug and play.

I'm in on 2 NAC's from the group buy, but looks like a few more need to be claimed yet. Maybe you can be down there on day 1, Brad, and set aside 2 of the better ones

oh, yeah! i've seen pictures of that one. it's a beauty.

i can't help but think a supergun with a one-slot board is a better alternative than the cmvs, though.
you get to play all those mvs carts plus jamma boards.
the wood looks nice and all, but the cmvs seems like an expensive way to sell yourself short, IMO

I have to figure out transport myself, I do not own a big enough vehicle. At this pointing guess we wait and see.

Tell me more about this group buy. Did it start at NG.com? I've seen a few start there. I assume by NAC we are talking candies here.

Can you breakdowns prices to buy in and shipping? Link to thread?
