You mean version 1.0 of Tournament Edition right?

Either way I'd love that cabinet.

You can't go wrong with any edition imo, I still enjoy the original arcade but thought the most recent online On Fire Edition was fantastic too.

This is a really good recap of the entire series

http://retrowaretv.com/the-nba-jam-retrospective/

I've added a lot to my NBA Jam family (this pic is probably 18 months old) since this but figured I'd share. Some of those not included are NBA TE on the PSX, NBA Hangtime on the PSX (fairly rare). NBA Showtime on the N64 and I'm sure others I'm forgetting.

I was a Game Gear kid, but never picked up TE for that system oddly enough. I am definitely lacking those GB ports of the original games. I loved how good the GG port was.

I should note - any NBA Jam '99 or whatever for the N64 and GBC do not count. Those games, where they tried to play as a regular NBA game, are horrible

Totally the original, on Sega Genesis. TE is good, but the star spots that grant additional points is kind of gimmicky. I liked that you could sub players out at halftime, which was a good feature. More players was cool too, so if you had a favorite team, you saw more of them.

What's everyone's team of choice?
