OK, it's IGN, but actually watch it. This is ridiculously stupid.

8bit posted that a bit above already... lol. Yeah looks insanely bad.

Ah, whoops, I even looked over the thread, too. Still, deserves repeating just for how terribly awful it is.

Let me get this straight, when your party dies you pay REAL money to revive them? Da fuq?

Isn't that pretty much how all social/casual Facebook/iOS games make their profits?

This is what the once mighty Square has been reduced to? Now it's official: the 1990s was better than the modern gaming era. It's a scientific fact.

Does anyone even like the Final Fantasy series anymore? The old fans like myself have abandoned it and I can't imagine bullshit like this will draw any new fans. Pathetic.

Based off this snippet you linked I'll guess he's rightfully bashing the game, but what really got me is that he has posters of Advent Children and Spirits Within behind him.

Because those were really good movies.

But yeah I'm usually one that can let the past be the untouchable past, shitty installments in a series won't ruin the good old ones at all in anyway, but at this point it's still incredibly frustrating that all SE does is crap out nothing but enormous dumps of Final Fantasy junk 20 times a year now.

He has those up as a joke or something. I mean the dude has a Highlander 2 poster as well.

Yup, Spoony collects movie posters and always has matching movie posters in his game/movie reviews when possible :P
