I'm just going to pull out this completely asinine statement he makes:
I don't want to explain to my son why daddy is shooting the guys on the television. Why that's okay, but when it happens in real life, people cry.
So you're unwilling to explain to your children between fantasy and reality. And then you admit that your kid is already imitating more than you expect. That's a conversation that needs to happen now, even if you cut violent video games out of your life.
