What hubub? Microsoft just showed the game, never claimed it was exclusive.

"Punished Snake" is just Big Boss, similar to how "Old Snake" was Solid.

That is, unless there's some crazy plot twist that's going to occur where David Hayter comes out from the woodwork to smack Kiefer Sutherland around. :P

Sorry for the quick derail, but I didn't want to start a new thread for one quick question:

I own Snake Eater, Subsistence, and Subsistence Limited Edition.

Is there a "better" version?

Subsistence is like the director's cut version. It includes a fully controllable camera as one key addition to the gameplay. There's also a second disc with lots of extras.

Subsistence LE is just the standard 2disc Subsistence package but with an included 3rd disc which has all the cut scenes strung together (with a bit of narration I think) to make a movie.

The HD version is based upon the Subsistence version (minus disc 2 & 3) if you want to go that route.

Luke if you have a ps3 you might want to wait because they are coming out with a new Metal Gear Solid collection that has all of the games on it including 4.

BUT, it does contain the MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, which were originally only on disc 2 of the game. Important to note!
