yeah Deathsmiles is pretty top of my list. My first priorities for the 360 will basically be the US shmups (LE's where applicable) and the DOA's I missed when the series went Microsoft-only.

I am blanking on any other XBLA recommendations right now. Highly recommend Triggerheart Exelica on the Dreamcast instead of XBLA... Ikaruga seems to play fine on XBLA, but you probably already have it on the Gamecube?

And I would always recommend Child of Eden to anyone that has not played it. Hope they make a 3rd game in the CoE/Rez series.

There are some fun Indie shumps for $1 like Vorpal and You Will Die, along with other retro themed cheapies that are totally worth it. Game Room has a ton of other cheap classics as well, worth going thru and and at least demo some for free. And don't forget Aegis Wing on XBLA, it's free and fun.
