Alright, let's be honest, who cares about manuals? I mean really, I'll accept worse manuals in exchange for some games this generation that are some of the best in history like the Halo series and Batman Arkham series.

I care, looking the manual es part of my gaming ritual. I read it while the game is loading, and GTA 4 takes a loooooooong time to start the first time you play it.

No. Edit: never mind, I misunderstood your post at first. But still, Halo sucks Arkham series is awesome though.
Old computer RPGs is where it's at. Nowadays the kind of stuff you got with games back then is strictly collector's editor stuff (Yeah, you dont relly NEED a map when playing a modern RPG etc but that's besides the point).

Anyways, I care about manuals. I love them. I like looking through concept art etc. Sometimes there are things that are good to know in the manual, like cheat codes as well.

Don't know if was mentioned but all of the PS Vita games are manual-less.

Modern day PC games are pretty bad...

Case in point, I picked up two PC titles yesterday: Trine and Disciples III. Neither one had a traditional manual, Trine has a PDF on the game disc and Disciples III has a PDF manual on a separate disc (wtf!!!).

Oh and of course it's impossible to print either manual as they both have grey/black backgrounds and white text. I guess you could do it if you had about 20 spare ink cartridges.

Talk about missing the point Most Valve games only come with the key code and nothing else since you can/will set up your own keybinds. No manual what so ever.

You should get the Trine 2 collector's edition by the way. It comes with OST, 40 page exclusive Art book and Trine 1.

The little bit of Trine I have played is awesome, so I probably will end up getting the sequel. As far as I can tell there's no physical North American release so I'll probably go for that European collector's edition (I don't download games unless there's no other option).

Trine 2 is one of the most beautiful 2D games I've ever seen. Not in the traditional pixelart or hand drawn point&click/Rayman Origins-style though

It has fun online co-op and you can get it from Steam and Xbox Live so people really should give it a chance! Great looking puzzle platformer.

Ultima IV

Are these your own pictures? Because if you own this stuff, I'm thrilled for you... but unnggg. So envious!

I've been watching an Apple II copy of Ultima IV on eBay for a few months now and I just can't justify buying it unless they lower the price. Not saying it's not worth the coin; just saying it would be irresponsible for me to spend it.
