are these games you haven't played before? I thought I've seen you talk about some of them.

I see you are stretching the definition of "classic"/"minor classic" also...

(p.s. - for those who haven't caught on I like to spoil everyone's fun at first by arguing about whether games should count as a "classic" or not. It is kind of my own annual tradition. It's mostly just a big ball of nonsense in the end, but I need to get it out of my system because I am kind of an asshole that way. Feel free to ignore my commentary on your lists for now  )

he's not kidding. He is an asshole. But it is totally part of the fun. We went through this last year too. Part in the thread, part in PM's. And honestly, me and Dave have already been arguing about our lists for this year via PM for about a month.

My bad. I didn't read Snickerdoodle's rules to a t.

I'll revise my list.

Just don't come crying to me in early August when you realize how shitty your list is.

Okay, so, I contemplated doing this last year, but I knew I wouldn't have the time. I probably won't have the time this year, what with all the extra work coming my way and all (plus, I've been in less of a game mood and more of a movie mood lately), but I'll make a small, tentative list anyway. If I complete just one of them, I shall be proud of myself.

1) Ocarina of Time (N64) - I started it, but never finished *le sigh* With any luck, I'll get though it this time.

2) Ducktales (NES) - I've really been wanting to play this. It's been in my pile of "NES games I really need to get to" for a while. Perhaps with the support of others playing it this year I'll have more encouragement.

3) A Final Fantasy Title - Probably IV since that seems to be what the majority of you will be playing. I have a copy of FF IV Advance and if I manage to get to it this summer than that pretty little cart is going straight into the GB Player.

I'm aware... That's why I mentioned it. I've played enough to know what the online is like, anyways. I'm sure that the game will be a bit harder once the servers go round but it's really just another layer of trial-and-error... I'll likely end up resorting to a walkthrough at some point anyways.

My tenth game is going to be Super Mario Bros 3, by way of Super Mario All-Stars.
