I thought that once you hit that number your combo starts over and it is 200 points x each hit, instead of 100.

I'm not sure what you mean, but my 3M high score on 1-1 was with a 170 combo.

Wow 170- i have no idea where my 116 went as I didn't die nor take a hit (is it the lava thats on the ground?).

Mjmjr25 has it right - tougher enemies are 200 x - good call there.

Well, when yr watching Captain America on netflix w/yr 9, 6, 4 and 2 yo's, and it says "my4skinface" is now online, you WILL get that look from your wife.

Usually goes like this:

I don't see it pop on screen, but my wife does.

She kicks my foot under the covers.

Gives me a hard glare.

Closes her eyes, and begins shaking her head. Occasionally she'll toss a few "tsk tsk tsk"s in there as well, for good measure.

We use the 360 as our DVD player downstairs so everytime Stonereaper69 comes on, you get the look.

I'm guessing I don't have the 52 spot. I'll check when I get home I'm not even sure if I've played that level on normal.

You guys know about the crowns hidden in the levels that are worth 10k each right? They you have to fly by them or shoot where they are to get em to appear but I'm sure they'd help with the scores.

Edit for the name goodness: I honestly figured it would have been a force change by Sony because that was my first xbl name and they made me change it. Then it was my4skinjelly for about 3 months then had to change it again. I always have really messed up names for things usually.

I've got a friend that's still mad that I set up his xbox with the gamer tag lord of gay thinking it wouldn't even let me use that name but it did.

Yeah, i've been finding those crowns, i'm missing one on level 1-1 and two on level 1-3. They're 10K from what I can see, so not deal breakers.

I'm still losing my combo at 118 every run on 1-1.

I don't see what's going on, it's right before that 2nd to last checkpoint where there is literally nothing on screen to miss? I'm baffled.

Uh stupid I know but you know the combo is on a timer right? You have to keep blowing up enemies there's a little bar above the combo counter that gets smaller. Kind of obvious I know but you guys were afraid of the check points so....

Also that's pretty cool I got that 52 spot. I probably would never notice myself.

Dude, those check points look like a deep abyss of doom, i'm surprised anyone goes near them.

And yes...finally saw the combo timer. I thought it was a no-miss combo, not a timer combo. So, the trick is once you get to 117-ish, string it out, since there is a 5 second lull between enemies and yr timer will expire. By keeping that last guy alive for 2 extra seconds, you can continue the combo. I think I hit 220 or something after figuring that out, now the trick is a perfect (I think perfect is 330).

They look like friendly little circles that just want to give your ship a hug to me actually.

Has anyone actually found the charge attack useful? I tried it once and died so I said screw that it must be a trick. You also can't attack during it so it double sucks.
