There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, in fact, it's a VERY cool story. Not every Win 95/98 game will run well under XP or Vista (I'm looking at YOU, Midway Arcade Treasures and Sega Mega Pack which were released while XP was out!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I've never played a sega genesis. I've only played genesis games on rereleases.

I have numerous games for consoles I do not own.

The Sega Smash Pack Combo disk doesn't even work on 98.

Same here. 8)

My confession is that I haven't even played, let alone beat, probably 3/4ths of my collection.

And it's taking me half a year to beat FFIX, which is the only game I've had in my PS1 except to test out other games when I've purchased them.

I love the amount of guys who got OoT's Water Temple and gave up. I'm struggling with that at the moment, Shadow Link was a bitch.

My confessions:

I've never owned or played a NES, Saturn or any Atari.
I've never completed a Zelda title. Or a Metroid! (I'm rectifying this at the moment).
I find Metal Gear Solid vastly overrated and much prefer Splinter Cell games.
I was too cheap to buy a silver PS2 controller, so used silver pens to "colour" one in. Little did I know that hands get sweaty during play and had silver hands for months!
Currently playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Guys, check out VMWare or VirtualBox. They're emulators of older computers that will run installations of Windows 95/98/etc. on your modern computers. You can play those old games again! Except that I think you might have to pay for these programs.
