I think your 1. has been done before (probably a cartridge shape thing or something), but if not, I'd say it's not a bad idea.

I tried to post an omochao one, where everyone would joke around, and give stupid anwers like

im stuck in this game, and I really need some help, and someone would reply with an omochao answer, and say: read the instruction manual or somethin dumb.

I do admit most threads dont last very long, but the random thread seems to be popular, everything comes, and go's, I think a quotes from games thread would do well

but with the game shape thread idea, whos ever seen an odyssey 2 cartridge? it has a handle

eventually that thread would turn into I miss holding my cartridge, and then cds vs cartridges, and then somebody whos really smart would say, they switched to cds becuase music is better, and graphics becuase cds have more space. then someone would say cartridges loaded faster, and early cd systems didnt. then finally we would be talking about what if we stuck with cartridges, would they eventually get better?

This has happened so many times it's not really worth discussing anymore. It's also well-known here.

You should follow the sage advice given to everyone on a new forum: lurk moar. You should get a feeling for a community before you decide to dominate it.

I made this excluding virtual console, becuase I dont go on it, I like to physically hold my games, but everyone I talk to says yeah you can hold them on an sd card, but thats not the same to me
