I wonder what the sales numbers are? Definitely hope it's doing pretty well.

I think preorders ended up being projected at a little under 200,000. I'm guessing this game had a much higher "preorder" to "no reserve purchase" ratio than usual, so unless it really picks up with word of mouth I'd think it won't go too much past that.

I think so. I know availability was really awful for a while with the NOE release and prices went up to the kind of levels you're talking about. A reprint fixed that though. It looks like the EUR game is still available new at retail from Amazon.co.uk.

It's in there. There's not like, FULL subtitles though. So I have no idea what the battle banter is, but it's not a big deal to me (reminds me of plenty of PSX JRPG's that had that, haha). Other than that, it's great and I plan to play it this way myself, even if the British seems pretty good too.

If it's anything like the english vocals, I'm sure the battle banter is just REEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY positive encouragement for the teammates and stuff. I wonder if Reyn is as self-referencing in the JPN audio?

I make fun, but I think the english vocals are pretty good. I use them.

PS: Anyone who has not should switch Reyn to be the player and try jumping. That dude is so awful/priceless.

I am wishing I ordered from GS and got the free art book and - well - had the game by now. It shipped Friday, but tax and shipping were about $9 total, I won't get an art book, and the game is taking its sweet time to get here...it is scheduled to arrive next Monday

I'm in the exact same position...I feel your pain. Just checked on my order status, and I've also got the 16th as my estimated delivery date. *sigh* I'm too spoiled by Amazon Prime shipping speeds at this point.

Oh well, I suppose if the game is actually as good as everyone's saying, it would probably be in my best interest to complete some of the games I'm in the middle of playing now..

Holy crap this game is amazing.

Also reminds me a lot of Vagrant Story in that, it's insanely overwhelming but somehow inviting at the same time... haha. There is so much to this game and so much to learn, but I'm just loving it.

The music reminds me a lot of FFVIII specifically, good stuff.
