That's weird, I got it in 720p. Maybe your connection was busy?

I've just recently found a file online with the first episode. I'm going to check it out as soon as I get a chance.Ziggy587 wrote:The original series is on Netflix, if you have it. DVDs or streaming. If Legend of Korra sounds like something you'd like, then I highly recommend watching the original series. It is one of the best stories I've ever heard.Gamerforlife wrote:Hmmm, I might see if I can get caught up on The Last Airbender. I had heard of the show before but had no idea it was this quality show that everybody was buzzing about

Just finished episode 3.
I have to say, the fight scenes in Korra seem better done than the ones in Avatar. Like the one of her and Mako against those two chi-blockers. It was very impressive.

Ehhh.
I've watched up to Episode 3, while I must say it's good, I liked the Original series more. CGI = >:U

I think the first little story arc is across the first two episodes, so it'd be best to watch them back to back. It really sets up the series. Even things you wont know a whole lot about for a while.Gamerforlife wrote:I've just recently found a file online with the first episode. I'm going to check it out as soon as I get a chance.
IDK, I'm gonna have to see more before I can give an opinion on that. The original series definitely had some awesome fight sequences.MrEco wrote:Just finished episode 3.

Yeah, I noticed the CG too. I'm not a fan of mixing the CG into hand drawn stuff.Mephikun wrote:Ehhh.

I'm not a fan of mixed CG either, but at least it looks fairly good here and they can put all that extra budget into the fight scenes and backgrounds. It's a beautiful show. Don't tell me it's not the prettiest American cartoon on TV right now.

Did any one see the last episode? I'm a little confused about what happens at the very end. Specifically...

Yes, those were Sokka, Toph and Aang. Toph looks more manly than I thought she would but Aang looks really awesome. Dude, the chinstrap rocks. I think you might be onto something - Amon could only have learned it from Aang, the spirits, or someone else who knew him.

Oh, I didn't mean to make a definitive judgement on the whole series. Though I can see how it looks like that.Ziggy587 wrote:IDK, I'm gonna have to see more before I can give an opinion on that. The original series definitely had some awesome fight sequences.MrEco wrote:Just finished episode 3.

What I meant, basically, is that what I've seen so far looks promising and if the rest of the fight scenes are just as good/better than I'll be able to say I think the series as a whole had better fight scenes.
