Your logic does not compute. How is requiring them to figure out how to prove they only have peaceful intentions for the program the same thing as "taking their word for it"?
I interpret Obama's words to say, "As long as you can provide us with information that your nuclear program is peaceful, which isn't difficult to do and you are very capable of providing us with this information, we will leave you alone". Is that not what he said?
Is Obama simply not asking to talk and review intentions with the Prime Minister of Iran?
*snark mode on*True logic has no computation (unless you play one of those "logic games" where you need to find out how many pieces of pizza Jennifer gets if Bobby gets two slices, gives a third of a slice to his half brother, a quarter slice to his half sister, and someone is late to the pizza party).
*snark mode off* I'm concerned about national security, and I don't believe we are putting our best foot forward. I do have concerns about N.Korea and Iran, and these topics not being the subject of interest of our commander in chief is more than disappointing. Too much backpedaling, not enough leadership.

From what I've read they just want to nuke Israel. The thing is though if Iran gets nukes every country in the region will consider the no nuke treaty (can't remember the name for the life of me) null and void and will want nukes over their own for defense. A few countries have already said this so it becomes less and less about Iran and more about not wanting everyone in the region to have nukes.

I am stunned that people are so quick to judge Iran after a decade of lies in regards to Iraq.
This. A thousand times this.
Also how long have the sanctions been I'm place? A month at most? It's childish to start sanctions then throw a fit that it didn't work right away. But then again I have no idea how long sanctions are supposed to take in the first place.
