So I just read the review and it's pretty easy to summarize

I hate all old school arcade beat'em ups and I want to make fun of all the idiots who wished so hard for this game to come to Xbox Live Arcade. I also grew up playing Final Fantasy on the Playstation and have absolutely no understanding of or appreciation for gaming history as my review just wrote off every arcade game that Capcom and Konami ever released in arcades. You should all thank me for reminding you of what a joke modern game reviewers are and how low standards for gaming journalism have become

I love the fact that he complains about the lack of great unlockables. IT'S A NINETIES ARCADE GAME YOU MORON!!! What kind of unlockables are you expecting? Idiot

I've had a bit of that yeah.

After playing a bit I was able to adjust to the delay for the most part, but it was still annoying.

I don't understand why this is a good beat'em up, could someone explain to me? I found the very limited moves to be very boring and the placement, movement and number of enemies don't seem to have too much thought. Dunno, I'm kind at a loss here. I'm not big on beat'em ups but this one doesn't seem too special.

The review has some dumb moments tough.

simplicity is what makes it so great anyone can pick up and play . its one of those games thats a blast with 4 friends as you can do combo moves with each other

I have to admit, it's no Scott Pilgrim, but there's still some unique ideas (tag-team moves, simplicity, overall charm, etc).

Love this game. Used to play the hell out of it as a kid (along with X-Men and TMNT, obviously). Nowadays I usually fire it up on MAME about once a year, might as well give the PSN version a try. For the record, there were a couple of computer ports of this back in the day (DOS and C64), but they were a bit iffy. Don't think X-Men ever got ported back then. :?

That GameStop review is just sad. Guess the reviewer is pissed the game is too colorful and doesn't feature enough army men. So sad.

Scott Pilgrim was fun. But it's way more River City Ransom than it is Konami beat-em-up.

It had no depth. If you're playing solo, you have to grind your stats to have a chance at playing through it without constantly dying. If you had friends for multi-player, you can just spam the revive option to keep bringing back players who've been ko-ed

Castle Crashers and The Dishwasher Vampire Smile make the Scott Pilgrim game look amateurish by comparison. For roughly the same price, they have far more depth, content and fun
