I think I've seen enough of this place. The bullshit is rampant, I'm gone. To the people here that are actually decent, you have my kudos, you guys rock and made my stay here good.

The important thing to consider about this generation is that the big games, the 100 million dollar shooters, the rollercoaster-track spectacles that the masses lap up, aren't going to be remembered in 10 years. Taking the example of Halo, everybody remembers, loves and replays Combat Evolved because it was an amazing game. Nobody talks about Halo 2 anymore.

Anyways, if you can't stand being called out on your ignorance, I suggest you eject yourself from the internet.

Guys let's calm this fire while it's still a flame.

...I probably messed that metaphor up but you know what I meant.

...umm. Thanks. I think.
I'm not sure what happened. I was still trying to figure out my response to:
dsheinem wrote:more choices of genres and play styles, more viable platforms, more variety in design, more access to old games in physical or virtual form, more independent game development and more impressive big-budget big-studio games, etc.

Anyways... While those are good points DS, I think that the market is over-saturated. When I was younger I never had nor heard of a backlog. Maybe my backlog issue is that I buy my own games with my own money, but I feel the value of the games (price per hour) is lower than older games and finding the gems can sometimes be more work than beating them.

:| Bye?

I wonder if I was decent, or if I was rampant bullshit. I've never seen someone leave in a huff like this before.

::shrug:: If they leave on a whim like that, it was just a matter of time anyway...
