I could go for that... If he could pass along some sketches for me to look at along the way, that would be coollordofduct wrote:I just leaned over and asked my friend if he could do it (a very talented artist I must add, he's the guy who models everything for my games). See, I'm a cheapskate so it kind of depends on if I like the color, design, and price.
As far as color, I vote no on white. Black, grey, navy blue, green, and red would all be fine.
Design? Well...seeing as the site's mascot is trademarked...I dunno. Price? I wouldn't really want to pay over $20 USD, but at the same time, I'd like it to be made to last. So I might go up to $30 if it was better quality.
...maybe for a shirt... hint... hint...

my buddy did up the sketch... he had to go to sleep (we've been up all night). He's scanning it in later to put clothes and blades on him and colour him up.
It's a character relative to beat, but not, in a pose some what similar to that of the cover of 'jet set radio future' (US ver). He's spray painting something on the wall (I'm assuming racketboy.com) from left to right... his pose would leave him on the right hand side of the grafitti slightly covering the 'co' of '.com'.
I would show you the sketch, but it isn't scanned yet and it's just a posed body in a wife beater. He's going to add the clothes and rollerblades in Photoshop.

Personally, I've never worn a wife beater in my life, but I look forward to seeing the sketch

I have one that I wear all the time and I think a couple other people picked one up. I never promoted it much after the initial announcement.

I'd buy one depending on how much they would be and the shipping cost to the UK!

Re: Racketboy.com T-Shirts: Do they exist?
There might be a copyright issue with that though. Racketboy (purely as a business) can't sell them without Sega's permission, and no doubt Sega would want a cut (if not all of the profit) even if they allowed him to redistribute artwork assets for profit.
Besides cafepress won't allow anyone to sell copyrighted images (unless you own the design/rights obviously) on their shirts. You could probably get away with it for a while but they will take the designs down at least and may pursue further action.
