You then named one expensive game and I named 3. So that's four expensive titles.BurningDoom wrote:I just named 4 GREAT first-party titles, not just 1 or 2.
So could I.I could name more...
Wii Sports would be low because it was included with the console.like Wii Sports
Looking at my first reply to your post, I realize that I didn't make it clear that I meant Nintendo games in general. I had trouble finding Super Princess Peach complete for less than $30 for a while. As far as Kirby games, Kirby Squeak Squad (I've been keeping my eye on this one in particular) and Kirby Canvas Curse are up there. Even Kirby Super Star for the Super NES is about $30. I remember seeing it at Game Crazy and Rhino Video Games for $35 when I was about 13.and Kirby's Epic Yarn
I think it's relevant because I've seen many posts here talking about how the poster hates how the Greatest Hits packaging looks on their shelf or how someone got a Player's Chioce game but wish they had the regular edition. I'm also a bit anal about how games look on my shelf....why does it matter if they are "Nintendo Selects" or not? They're still the same game, left unchanged, and the only difference on the cover is the words "Nintendo Select".
Yeah, now that I think about it, I think I saw Twilight Princess (Non-Nintendo Selects) for $19.99 when I was at GameStop last night. But since you brought it up, the only one that actually was Nintendo Select was Super Mario Galaxy.
I took a quick look at some site for retail outlets (relatively) near me and confirmed this. Damn, I'd figure that Amazon would have at least one seller that'd match them.AppleQueso wrote:Yeah it is worth mentioning that most retail places price the normal versions of games at the same price point as the Nintendo selects versions. I got a normal Super Mario Galaxy for $20 new that way.
I think the opposite, but I don't think it's worth it to slog through tons of store sites to see if I'm correct.I believe there are more first-party Wii titles that are $25 or under than there are $25 and over.
No it isn't, I'm broke! This is the time to get Wii games, because it's only a matter of time before they go up again.
Lame joke aside, I never said it wasn't. This definitely is the time to get Wii games for cheap. Maybe shortly after the Wii-U comes out, the games might go down a bit more, but that's not for certain.
