What kind of spare cases are you refering to? Also do you have 4 tvs to go along with this idea?

Ill take pictures later - they are old equipment cases that are missing an end. Kinda like this:

I wish I had kept the old stewardess food case I got rid of last year. It would have been perfect.

And yes, four tvs is not an issue. I have two 27inch CRTs right now, two more will cost me about $60 at my Goodwill

really ? I love hidden gems.

but I wont go through the trouble of finding an oXbox. Its just too much and too many consoles and such a limited life time. Maybe if there was a port

Me and my friends played it for hours upon hours back when it came out. Wasn't my game and system though, or I'd probably still own it.

But yeah, the oXbox puts me off with its extremely large size. I already have a tough time fitting the four consoles I have under my TV stand. I'm sure i'll get one eventually just for the Sega titles, as it was Sega's last really strong round of games before they faded into obscurity.

I'm not sure what you guys mean when you say that Steel Battalion can be had for 100 bucks - the game alone, sure, but try finding a a complete, boxed copy with working controller set. Easy 300-500 on Ebay, when they ever show up (and not many complete copies do).

It seems to have mixed backwards compatibility if you have a 360 (the sequel seems to mostly work though).

It was fairly recognized as being a surprisingly good title at release, with probably more complaints that they didn't manage to get Sarah Michelle Gellar to do the voice than other elements. It was just odd, since I think all the other main characters did have the TV actors/actresses do them.

While originally planned for other platforms, (originally PSX, then DC + PC), it only ever actually came out for the XBox. The sequel (Chaos Bleeds) was also well received and did come out on PS2 and Gamecube as well.

This is a very good time to get an XBox though. As mentioned earlier, it's at that point where it's old, but not necessarily retro cool, so prices are fairly low.

how much was steel battalion when it came out?

ill probably play the Buffy sequel on gamecube since it must be about the same experience. I have not seen a single episode of that show, is it ok to play the game that way?

I had barely seen any Buffy when I played the sequel, "Chaos Bleeds", nor had I played (or even heard of) the original XBox release yet, and I enjoyed it just fine. I played the XBox version.

It's your basic 3D beat-em up action game, but with some good production values for back then, and a dark look/style to it.

Yup, looking back, the thing was monster and weighed a ton. Also mine caught fire during that whole Xbox power cord fire thing. (Microsoft never seems to get the Xbox 100% right on first release.)

... Not exactly my favorite console, you can easily see why. I do see it heading headed to a "niche" direction in retro gaming. It was really a good head to head console when compared to the PS2 at the time.
