So yeah, Transformers, Gobots, and a little bit of everything was cool with me. I do have 2 really really terrible cheap triple changers that came from Walgreens or Eckerds. One does helicopter/spider/robot and the other is jet/dragonfly/robot.

Absolutely amazing! That looks awesome. Set-ups like this make me VERY tempted to take my action figures out of their packages.flojocabron wrote:I also knew about those so called go-bots. Saw them a few years ago and thought nothing of it.
I collect both of them.
Had lots of them when I was a kid. Still have some now. Few years ago some asshole stole a sizable amount of my transformers.
well these are some of my transformers......dont hate!
I have a few boxed things not in those tubs too, but I'd say overall it's comparable about wise to your displayed collection although mine are stuck in the dark in my closet. Thanks.flojocabron wrote:DAMN HOBIE!!!!!![]()

Apologies. Found out my old buddy eBay'd everything when he got married. Hey, I recognize those camo'd tanks! I got some of them when I was a kid in Hong Kong. (This reminds me of a "name all 150 robots in this picture" contest over the summer I never finished. Dammit, forgot the contest URL.)Hobie-wan wrote:For grins, some old quick and dirty pictures I took before Katrina evacuation.

They have to be earth vehicles, it's called Transformers: Robots in Disguise.Pulsar_t wrote:I wanted to like Transformers, but it has too much commercial>artistic value. And the fact that they transform into human-designed vehicles is silly, though a few have unique designs.

I guess you aren't familiar with the plot of the series or even seen the first cartoon.Pulsar_t wrote:I wanted to like Transformers, but it has too much commercial>artistic value. And the fact that they transform into human-designed vehicles is silly, though a few have unique designs.
Actually, not all of them even transformed into vehicles. Throughout the series, flashbacks have been made to those that turned into weapons, tools... heck, in the pilot to the original cartoon, Soundwave (the spy who turned into a radio) disguised himself as a lamp post.Zing wrote:The robots used to transform into "futuristic" vehicles. They crash landed on Earth, were severely damaged, and lay dormant for millions of years. A volcanic eruption awakes the ships computer who sends out a probe to explore the land. It discovers modern vehicles and begins to rebuild the robots into the forms it sees.
