Tell me about it, I was playing the DOS version of Dune 2 the other day, and its so awkwardly clunky it made what should've been a pretty fun strategy game irritating, slow and not much fun. Having to lay out foundations for any building REALLY SLOWLY, ordering only one unit at a time (no multi-selecting units was easily the games biggest problem - how can you power through enemies defences when your units arrive on at a time?), having to press the relevant button to change between attack, move, harvest etc, rather than it being context sensitive. Even by command and conquer the interface had come a long way.Yancakes wrote: But looking at strategy games, simulations, RPGs and what-have-you, modern interfaces have made them so, so much more accessible than they ever were.
Why did graphics become so important in gaming?

I'm not sure what to say...Inazuma wrote:I've been playing Hatsune Miku Project Diva on the PSP lately, and am blown away by the graphics. I didn't think the PSP was capable of this much.

I enjoy Project Diva and Gal*Gun. What of it? One of my favorites is also The iDOLM@STER. So what? I like them.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva is a fun rhythm game. Miku is so cute and you can have her wear so many cool outfits. I'm working on unlocking the swimsuits right now. (^_^)
Playing this game has made me into a big Miku fan. The music has really grown on me.

Project Diva games are some of the more enjoyable rhythm games I have played. I also enjoy the music, but the actual Vocaloid voices have yet to grow on me.

I was just kidding, besides, I do like Gal Gun and The iDOLM@STER, hell, I was about to make a thread about whether I should import The iDOLM@STER 2 without knowing japanese. I played the demo and I loved it.ZenErik wrote:I enjoy Project Diva and Gal*Gun. What of it? One of my favorites is also The iDOLM@STER. So what? I like them.

Yes, you should. It would probably be more enjoyable if you knew Japanese, but its still lots of fun either way. You will just need to use a guide for perfect communication.

I've heard that the iDOLM@STER 2 wikia is really helpful so I'll end up buying it. Thanks!ZenErik wrote:Yes, you should. It would probably be more enjoyable if you knew Japanese, but its still lots of fun either way. You were just need to use a guide for perfect communication.
