Any Iced Earth fans around here? I've finally heard some tracks from Framing Armageddon and it's pretty awesome. Setian Massacre rocks, Ten Thousand Strong and the title track are killer tracks, and Charge to Keep has a memorable chorus. Love Order of the Rose too.

I'm also loving the song Amaranthe by Nightwish as well.

Looks like two of my favorite bands aren't going to let me down with their new albums

the forbidden zone is definitely something else man. I was tripped out with all the things they got away with. But the music was hands down great.

Wow i didnt think this post was gonna bow up like this. anyways.....
Ahh..man. How can you listen to that album? My brother bought it a few weeks ago and except for Straight Lines it is terrible. Ugh I hate it. Sorry dude. I do like the new Powderfinger CD which is quite good. Been listening to that and some Richard Ashcroft stuff. Also been playing Northern Soul by The Verve.
Damn.....I guess when somebody from Australia says the new Silverchair is no good that should tell me something. I just cant get a enough of it though. I guess when im not in the metal scene, and fell out of the punk scene years ago, that doesnt leave too much for me to get into here in the states. I like alot of slow dramatic art rock(yeah so Im sensitive......) , and this album just fit perfectly. Those thieving birds blew the top off my skull the first time I heard it.

No At the Drive-in fans? They are my favorite band of all time......i think.....

At the Drive-In is good but I really only like Relationship in command. The Mars Volta are really good though.

Looks like I'll be listening to the new Nightwish album for a while. The retail version has leaked onto the net and it's so good I may go out and buy it. Some heavy tracks, a few cinematic sounding moments, and some songs that sound really emotional and beautiful. Just had to express my enthusiasm for this album. Really awesome

So did they get a new singer? I haven't checked the site since Once, and it said the woman left. I'm looking forward to a different style. Hoping the opera sound changes a little.

Lately I've been testing the waters of Strapping Young Lad. Mostly good stuff. This is the closest to death metal I've ever enjoyed.
Oh and the Dethklok album is out. It's so awesome. Best fake band of all time.

Edit: After listening to the new singer, she's not bad. She doesn't sound much different from other female singers, but at least I can understand her lyrics a hell of a lot easier. I'm of the understanding that the last singer didn't actually speak English worth a shit, but would just practice the sound to learn how to sing it.
