i don't mind the story modes. i don't play online so that's probably why i don't hate it. i enjoyed modern warfare and modern warfare 2. world at war was fun, also. they're just war-themed FPS games, nothing special but definitely not the worst games ever.

but, in the spirit of belaboring an incredibly trite joke:

I think Image is better than Call of Duty.

CoD4: MW had a decent single player i thought, but i just cant justify buying a game for multi-player, it HAS to revolve around its single player campaign, otherwise its meh.

i have CoD BO, but got it as a gift and have no interest in it at all.

It'd be nice if the CoD games started coming with multiple SKUs.

1.) Single-player only for $40, add multiplayer via DLC for $15
2.) Multi-player only for $40, add singleplayer via DLC for $15
3.) Whole shebang for $60, comes with some nifty DLC perks for buying the $60 bundle.

Which is a shame, because from what my friends tell me BlOps has probably the strongest single player of any CoD. I certainly wouldn't spend money on it but since you got it for free why not try it out?

Actually, that sounds pretty awesome. I can only imagine that would be benefical to the companies, assuming they use the same manuals and packaging. Having to print 3 different discs probably is alot more expensive than I am imagining.

so you can buy the whole game for $55, or pay $5 more and get the whole game!

The DLC is locked to your profile or system. You can't sell the DLC when you don't want the game later :P
