This game looks great, as does Sturmwind.

If you want fps or rpgs, go get a current gen system. The.DC has always been full of arcade-style games. Not to mention this game is programmed for the Neo Geo.

If it wasn't for releases like this, the Dreamcast would have been dead years ago

Sturmwind does look amazing - no doubt.
Gunlord looks pretty decent too.

And agree w/everything DP2064 said as well, though I don't know it would've been a dead system, even before the recent rebirth on indie stuff, we still had official JP stuff being released that was superb, and even w/out that, there was plenty of stuff released in its official US release to keep it as a staple in my household. Still can't get enough Cannon Spike, Gunbird 2, and Mark of the Wolves.

This sounds like an interesting idea - I see a fully interactive experience, lots of powerups and ship choices --- and not only audio/visual but olfactory stuffs going on.

Actually, Indie games never stopped coming. The Dreamcast has had retail games for it made consistently every single year since 1998, even Japanese publishers supported it up till 2007, and then after that, western devs picked it up and have been giving us releases from Europe, and even Central America, Yuan Works Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles springs to mind.

By retail, I mean online sales, but still, retail is retail, independent or big publisher, it doesn't really matter.

Anyway, I am just happy it is even still supported at all, by Indie devs, homebrew and Emulator coders. Chui is still supporting his emulators, he just updated them all this year, and Chilly Willy is talking about porting over Duke Nukem 3D and Aliens Trilogy.

The Dreamcast truly has the most dedicated fans of any system.

^ By rebirth, I was referring to the system itself, as a result of continued indie games.

Neither here nor there.

Someone earlier in the thread was "hoping" the AES version would be a good price. Well, the MVS version is 399EURO, or about $550. The AES version should be more one would think, so....yeah.

I'd love to know how they develop for the neogeo. Don't see any clean development setups like the one for the DC.

Any new images on the games? Screenshots baby screenshots.

Nah, lots of clean/fluid looking stuff for AES/MVS. Fast Striker looks/plays flawless on MVS, as do a number of homebrews, Ironclad and Ghostlop come to mind.

NG Dev Team will be releasing a trailer on Youtube and accepting pre-orders at the same time. The date has yet to be determined. MVS can be pre-ordered now with AES and DC starting soon.
