Have you ever had a tall stack of unplayed games?
Re: Have you ever had a tall stack of unplayed games?
Also, 3/4 of my RPGs. I get around to playing all my fighters, shmups, etc for at least 3 hours each. RPGs have always been my favorite, but its hard to make the time commitment since having to become more of an adult.

Re: Have you ever had a tall stack of unplayed games?
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Eat 3 white mushrooms with green dots. You'll either gain three extra lives or become horribly ill.elmagicochrisg wrote:I will need at least 3 full lives to play all the games I've got...

My backlogs from previous gens is certainly much worse, but here's games I own from this current gen that I have never once put into a system:

I guess my stack is wide, not tall. If I could include Steam purchases of games I have never installed or played (of just the stuff released in the past 4-5 years) I know there's got to be another 15-20 games or so on here easily. If I were going to include stuff from this gen that I have played but not beaten, the pile would be much, much larger.
So what games would people advise me to pop in NOW?!

not Heavenly Guardian. It's not very good. Certainly not up to Pocky & Rocky standards anyway. Cute sprites though.dsheinem wrote:So what games would people advise me to pop in NOW?!
I see you have No More Heroes 2. That surprises me. Did you play the first? It doesn't seem like a game(s) you'd be interested in.
Puzzle Quest is supposed to be excellent.
That Castlevania PSP collection is good, but probably only for Dracula X since you don't like SOTN.
Also, I notice MMX Maverick Hunters in there. Unless yr already a fan of the first MMX, you shouldn't play this. It's a good game, but more appreciated if you've already played the extremely brilliant original. Think of it like seeing a remake of a movie that is worse than the original, but does something interesting to redeem itself.

I quite like No More Heroes 1 and Suda games in general, though I still have 1-2 "bosses" left to beat before I start up NMH2. It has been sitting unplayed for a long time. I also plan to pick up Shadows of the Damned at some point when it gets closer to $20.
I'll hold off on MMXMH until I actually play through MMX. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Have you ever had a tall stack of unplayed games?
odd. I thought the opposite for some reason. I could have sworn when NMH PS3 was announced I was talking about it in IRC and you said you weren't interested. But hmm. I guess I'm mixing things up. Maybe it was weasels who wasn't into it.dsheinem wrote: Clearly you don't know me very well![]()
But that stuck with me, so for whatever reason I figured you didn't like Suda. Ok, cool. I got Shadows of the Damned last week actually, but hadn't started it yet. I think Suda's awesome.
So to answer yr question then, I'd tell you to start NMH2 or Castlevania PSP right now.

If I were you I'd sell Red Steel and pick up Red Steel 2.

I would do AC:B or Enslaved, if it were me. Which is why I've beaten Enslaved and am playing through AC now.
