I really enjoy the show as well. There are some bad duos out there (the one game hunters one from the guys in texas is b-r-u-t-a-l) but you guys do a good job.

Plus you actually own all the stuff you're showing - and you've both lived through it too (assuming you're in your 30s so you hit a demo that is older than the AVGN stuff).

Are you guys on Twitter?

Watched a bunch of the videos today and I agree with some of the other people that they would be better with less of the Nintendo vs Sega stuff. Instead of being funny, it just looks like you are trying too hard at pretending to be dumb fanboys. It would be fine if that fake bias didn't affect the factual and informative parts of the videos but a lot of times they actually do. One person says something is great because it's Nintendo or Sega, while the other says it sucks for the same reason. I'd like to hear some honest opinions instead of biased bullshit.

Despite it, I still enjoy the videos overall (^_^);

There is enough good stuff in the videos to outweigh the bad. While I watch, I have to try extra hard to filter out the fanboy shit, but thankfully I know enough about games to do so. I do worry about someone watching who may not know that much about retro games. They may get confused or annoyed by everything being judged completely on what company makes it, and have no idea what to think.

Sorry for sounding very negative! I will continue to watch your videos even if you don't change anything. Maybe I don't have the right sense of humor or I am too serious, so you don't have to listen to what I'm saying.

I would be really interested in a poll. If you made a video asking the viewers what they thought about the fanboy bias affecting your opinions, and asked them to vote "like" or "dislike" to do it, I would love to see the results.

I think our personalities take a bit of getting used to as it really is intended to be "tongue in cheek", but thanks for your comments. We do have something positively juvenile planned, but are still working out how to include it in an episode.

Are you guys on Twitter?

I am, but I rarely post and hardly ever about games. Dave isn't much of a social media guy. He has a Facebook, but only lurks. Both of us hang out at the-magicbox.com forums and actually post (myself more than him, but he pops up once in awhile and mostly reads everyone's comments).

Great episode. The TG16 Batman looks like it was built on a Bomberman engine. LOL

I don't know why I don't visit the video section more often, but I have watched all of the videos and they're fun. Sure they're a little goofy now and then but the pacing is great and at no point do they bog down with unneeded stuff.

Agreed - I like them a lot and recommend them to others.

The only one I struggled with was the 'Run and Gun' episode because man was Dave (Nintendo guy) blatantly reading, and it came off really choppy. Joe (who is redifer here) is $$ though.

Redifer, Great show brotha! Not enough VG show's compare the various ports of a game... which I think is great stuff. A lot of people have no idea that most games from back in the day may of had the same name, but were completely different games from completely different developers.

Great job man! keep up the hard work... it's worth it!

Thanks, all! I love comparing games of the same name no matter if they are the same game or different games with the same name. I also love throwing that crap on the screen at the same time (because that's what I've always wanted to see).

New episode coming Monday.
