I believe I read somewhere in the 50's that bacon and eggs is a well balanced breakfast and now since popular medical science is changing POV, they're having different outlooks on that, especially with the yolk.

My idea of a breakfast is an egg and a bob evans sausage link.

My idea of a full balanced breakfast ( as that will be my only meal of the day....lol ) is Bob Evans Big Country Breakfast with 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, two toast, 1 strawberry crep ( a thin pancake with strawberry syrup, cheesecake filling, whip cream on top ) and it's the start of a beautiful day.

While the oatmeal is laced with gluten, it's also got enough soluble fiber to clean out your intestines. With some moderate exercise, unless you have a severe allergy, a person would burn the energy the meal provided with no problems.

This would actually change the gluten protein to be more digestible. These days, it's all about how many loafs of bread can be made and packaged and sent out. They don't ferment the dough like they use to, and as a result, it becomes worse to eat.
Traditional Jewish Rye. Look for it. Try it. A very firm and dark rye bread and very different from, say, WonderBread. (Just try to compress rye bread. Good rye fights back and wins.)

Ah, the old bash joke about the history of medicine.

My NRT doctor would disagree.
It is not necessary to have celiac disease in order to suffer from the negative effects of gluten’s irritation and damage to the intestinal lining.

Uh, yeah. Pretty sure that's 100% woo. Geeze, the "doctor" is even a doctor of chiropractic, that's like getting your PhD in woo. They're selling snake oil.

Then by all means, eat grains, lots of 'em...
Disease itself is the end product of tissue failure. To treat disease without understanding its origin would be equivalent to lifting up the last domino that has fallen, while being oblivious to the chain of events that allowed it to fall...
And that's exactly what most doctors do...

so would you say that there's a possibility that eating an egg would be better than eating a bowl of multigrain cheerios for breakfast? or is it an apple and orange comparison?

Not a possibility, but a fact...

If not for the grains, then for the sugar...

If not for the sugar, then for the milk you will most likely add...

No, he's not a medical doctor. If he was then he wouldn't be doing NRT, now would he? He'd be treating symptoms with drugs. And what's wrong with snake oil (I'm honestly asking - I've never taken it - wasn't aware that he sells it). Haven't you ever taken fish oil? Is that such a stretch?

Why keep a closed mind? If you're not even willing to consider the possibility, then that's your problem. Nutrition Response Testing stemmed from chiropractors, don't hate on it just because you don't know what it is. My personal experience with it, and current health, is all the proof I need to know for myself. If it's full of shit, then I have crazy mental problems.

If you want, just ask, I'll be happy to explain it all. But I wont bother explaining it to a skeptic that wont believe it's anything more than phony bologna. And please be careful if you happen to want to Google NRT or Muscle Response Kinesiological Testing. There's many haters that state false information just because they don't understand it. And I'm not saying every NRT doctor is perfect. There's a lot of them that only loosely follow it and kinda do their own thing, they're mostly full of shit.
