if you liked Doom and Duke 3D, then you'll probably like this one. Played best with mouse and KB as mentioned....and don't compare this to your typical Halo series.

never got the hang of M&KB for gaming. I only wondered about Halo cuz of screenshots I saw. Like I said, I'm not well versed in FPS games. I know when I saw the video of the new Retribution game it looked horrible to me, though. Is it like that?

doesn't look horrible to me. some of the characters looks actually reminds me of Gears of Wars (but that's another story). i play with the ps3 controller and so does Mike and a number of us. so if you use that, you are not alone. just watch out for Hobie and Wipeout in Deathmatch mode.

see? I don't know what GOW is either. I mean I've heard all these games mentioned, but I really don't know one current gen FPS from another.
I think the only recent FPS that has caught my attention has been Borderlands, cuz it looks amazing.
Anyway, UT3 is on sale for $5 right now at GS. So I'll probably nab it for the hell of it.
