Same. I just think of the stories as a nice little bonus but certainly don't miss them if they aren't there. Fighting games are all about the fighting after all!

Why can't the storyline be that Freddy Krueger was co-opted to fight against earth's champions? (Oh, wait, what's the current storyline? Last I checked was MKIII heh.)

Seems obvious that Netherrealm studio took advantage of being part of WB, I nearly shat myself when I herd the announcement, it was completely out of nowhere, some expected Fujin, some expected Tanya, some even thought it was going to be Frost, nope, f'in Freddy!!!

And since this open allot of doors, it got me thinking, what other WB/DC property characters are they going to use next? Jason would be cool, but I think they should do this conservatively, I don't want the game to look like SCIV with Darth and Yoda (ironically, Kratos made it into the PSP version)

My wishlist includes...

Rorschach - I wanted this character in the game since MK vs. DC first announced, since the new MK game got back into a M rating, just imagine how brutal he could be in this game.

Neo - I remember creating him in MK:A and remembered how much he actually fit in, in the game. I just hope he is not made as a BS top-tier character.

TMNT (everyone) - I am not sure who currently owns TMNT, but I imagine the comic book version of the Turtles, this one was based on an idea that I had not too long ago, I was thinking what would make a good cross over and MK vs. TMNT was one of them. What a dream come true

Terminator - I mean come on! seriously, the f*cking Terminator!!

and of course the greatest and most brutal character of all time they should include it in the game because he is just plain awesome

Ubisoft had the game license last I heard (could have changed by now), but the TMNT property as a whole is owned by Viacom. They're planning to use it as a Nickelodeon brand, so I can't see them wanting it associated with MK. I don't think even the Mirage comics version of the TMNT is a good match for MK anyhow, since Eastman and Laird always tried to steer clear of gratuitous gore and violence (and MK without gratuitous blood is almost pointless).
