Except the archie one had Snively in it.
I bought the first issue of the Archie Mega Man comic. I only wanted it because Mega Man looks so right. If MM's quality is anything to go by, Archie's Sonic should be good.

I picked up this one, too. I usually don't go for licensed comics too much, but that cover just looked so beautiful and it was the 1st issue so I couldn't pass it up.
I tried getting into the Batman storyline last year. I followed for a little bit, but didn't have the cash or time to keep up. I really want to follow a series or two, so this reboot works for people like me, who could use a good starting point.

How much is one comic? How fast are they released?

It's $3 an issue once a month, but when there are a few series you want to get, and you're busy with other things like school and don't have a job, I found out how quickly you can fall behind. I want to have a fresh start come September with the reboot, and I want to try to keep up this time.

I haven't been keeping up with DC comics at all, but unless I'm mistaken, there have been several Batmans. I know Robin was Batman once. I'm not 100% sure of how it all played out, but I think it's more malleable than just Bruce Wayne. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

They've done it before but it's always come off as not the real Batman, to the point where it's even written in that way to the characters in the comics.

Batwing seems to be a different thing as opposed to how Dick Grayson took up the cape and cowl. Batwing, from what I've seached up, works out of Africa, and is more in line with Batman counterparts like Knight and Squire in England, and Man of Bats in the Southwest United States. Either way, it might be interesting. I might skim through the first issue.
