It'd be nice to see Doom get a port.

I've told myself that I would buy any console that gets an English release of this.

I know there is a fan translation (possibly still a WIP), but my PC won't run SSF very well and I won't chip my Saturn.
Why? Are you afraid of ruining it or do you not want to play a burned copy of the game?

The point, I reckon, was to think of games that didn't have their full potential tapped because of the limitations of the original hardware.

What the hell would change in an Earthbound port? Come on.
In that case, I want a collection of ports of every 2D-gameplay Mario game, redone in the art style of Super Mario All Stars, with NSMB Wii multiplayer added, plus the option to add extra items like was done with the SMA4 e-cards, and a full featured level editor. And I want it on the Wii because it's the latest Nintendo home console and it should have enough power to handle all the bullet bills that are going to be on screen in my custom levels.
So I guess you're that one guy who actually likes the bullet bill hell levels.

Why can't this get ported? Why?
When was the last time Capcom did anything with the AvP license? Konami recently had the TMNT license, and that's why they could put out some of their old TMNT games in their newer ones, or make a remake on XBLA or something.
I know, it's probably entirely due to licensing issues, it's just a shame that such an awesome game has to be forgotten.

Actually, I'd like to see a Vista/7 compatible release of Doom and Doom 2. I have the Doom Collection they used to sell back in like 2003, and it doesn't work on anything newer than XP, because it was designed for 95. I've tried compatibility mode and whatnot, but it just won't work. So I'd be fine with another port.

Yeah, but...I mean, come on, name a machine. There's a Doom port for it.
