This is a very vague clue, but the reason I was upset was because, like always, the gift wasn't really for me.
Uhh... A dvd set of a show she likes and wants you to watch with her even though you don't care?

Yeah that was kinda broad...

Happy one day late Birthday by the way. I hope it was enjoyable even if you didn't care for your present.

A sexy tie for you to wear at home, so she can grab it and pull you into a corner of the house and totally make out with you?

;)

Looks like I'll keep the gift card.

She bought me a bird house. Now complaining about getting any gift isn't my style, but let's just say I was caught off guard. A $10 birdhouse.

Not only it wasn't for you, it was for a bird...
At least a bird won't lick her boob!

A Bowling ball with "Homer" written on it?

Ivo.
Good reference, and I would have loved that. Especially if when handed to me it fell on my cake. Wait, I didn't have a cake.

Thanks MM, and I'm jealous of your gyro endeavor.

If I was in a 50 mile radius of a place that served a good gyro, that is where I would have gone to for my birthday dinner. But hey, I had the best sushi I've ever eaten that night, so all is well.

Let's hope the Bulls get a W tonight!
