Gonna disagree there. At least the top one looks properly finished and smooth.Ziggy587 wrote: At least it looks better than this one

Yeah, definitely looks like a better paint job. I'll agree with you there. I was talking more about the design and color scheme. Frankly, I don't like either. Flowers don't belong on game consoles.
Re: I F up painting my n64
Fortunately, N64s are super cheap.

I've heard it both ways from lots of people over the years so I've just assumed it's the official one by now.
That and I think it's just smart given how hot the expansion pak can get under the standard cover.

If you bought an expansion pack, did it come with the cover? I got mine packed in with DK64, it only came with the little tool to remove the jumper pack.

Re: I F up painting my n64
There were a few variants of the pak from what I've encountered over the years.
1: Bundled with a game, just the Pak itself with the removal tool.
2: Plastic shell pack with just the Pak itself sans tool.
3: The original Expansion Pak which came in an N64 game sized box and the removal tool.
I believe this cover to come from number 3 as I've never seen it with any other Pak (3rd or 1st party) and there's lots of room in that box for it to be stowed away with the tool.
