I've always been interested in PSP, but I never wanted to drop the money. I don't play my DS much unless I'm playing an RPG, Advanced Wars, or Castlevania.

I know the early versions are highly sought after. Should I start with 1000? I want the option to possibly mod it in the future.

After everyone started talking about Rondo of Blood X, i got really excited to possibly get one.

Opinions vary on the superior model, but I would say go for the 2000 due to its sleeker design and brighter screen than the 1000. While the 3000 does have the best screen, it's potential for modding is the worst of the bunch.

I like modding because it makes playing multiplayer games easier. Lately when I want to play a multiplayer game at school, all I have to do is use a UMD ripper program to save the same to my memory stick, then I lend player 2 the UMD and we can play the full version together. I've done it with Power Stone and Tekken: Dark Resurrection so far and it's a blast.

well, try the -2000 models first and see if you like it or not, the -1000 models are quite bulky.

With Rondo of Blood X, are you referring to the PS1 Classics on PSN, or PSP compilation Dracula Chronicles X on UMD and PSN?

I bought my PSP on launch day in December of 2004 at Yamada Denki and I have loved it ever since. It's one of my most-played systems.

After being given a psp 2000 the other month,I have nothing but love for this system.I had one back in the day with cfw but soon got bored of it at the time.

Now i cant stop playing this machine,Its so under rated and the games are so cheap its criminal not to try as many as you can.I only turn my ps3 on now really to use adhoc party to extend the fun!
Recently i have been enjoying:
MGS PeaceWalker
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Ridge Racer 2
Everybodys Golf 2
Star Wars Battlefront 2
All costing less than 10 pounds.I find some good last minute items on ebay costing only a few quid.
Ive convinced mates to re ignite there psp love affair so i have co op buddies.
The adhoc party is a breeze to use and a valuable addition to the online gamining community.I cant fault it.

Not enough people play monster hunter that i know though which kinda sucks. On adhoc party search though monster hunter is the most popular game played.Maybe il have to try my luck with randoms.

If anyone knows good places to get japanese games i would appreciate it.Play asia wont send games to uk addresses anymore thanks to liksang gate.

I also like the fact that i have found a work around for the ps1 games on another region account and playing ps1 disc games on a non modded psp.

Its all about remote play.It allows you to boot ps1 discs and games off another region account.Yes the graphics lower a bit and sometimes there can be a bit of lag,But this is all about your network connections.

Sorry to go on a bit but i do have much love for this machine and i wanted to share that with you all!

what games are you playing at the moment? do you get your games in umd format or from psn? I love to get my games in physical media so i prefer the umds.
