Zombies ate my neighbors movie.

Zeke always wearing those 3D glasses is actually a big reason why I am really into old 3D movies and I just love wearing 3D glasses around.

When there's limits to what one can do, it forces creators to be creative, instead of just falling back on the old sex and crap humor, ala the Ren and Stimpy reboot. I know that ZAMN isn't supposed to be nothing but a comedy, but the same sort of thing applies to other genres as well. Besides, if I remember correctly, the game was PG13 level anyway. And if it's PG13, more people can see it than if it's R.noiseredux wrote:why?BoringSupreez wrote: Hmm. Well, maybe something like that, but I would prefer if it was kept PG-13 level.

funny enough, the game was intended to have blood -- but Nintendo censored it. It wasn't that LucasArts was extra-creative because Nintendo limited them. But rather the game as they intended wasn't allowed because of PG-13 censorship.BoringSupreez wrote: When there's limits to what one can do, it forces creators to be creative, instead of just falling back on the old sex and crap humor, ala the Ren and Stimpy reboot. I don't know, so far I have not been able to get into any PG-13 rated horror films but I won't say that I will never like one though because you just never know. I prefer no limitations with my horror films. If you look at my collection, I ALWAYS buy the uncensored, unrated, uncut, etc w/ all the loaded special features, versions of my favorite horror flicks. I want to see it all!
Sure it takes a hell of alot more than blood and breasts to make a great horror film but those things are also fun and enjoyable to me. It depends on my mood. If they made ZAMN with a PG-13 rating then I would still check it out regardless because I'm a HUGE fan of the game and I'm always willing to give something the benefit of the doubt if I was unhappy about the PG-13 rating.
Look at Gremlins, it's one of my absolute all time favorite films of all time. Until I I heard the creator's commentary track on it, I had no idea that the original script was MUCH darker and that they were going in a more horror flick approach with it. I would have LOVED to have seen that! However, it has in no way ruined my image of what was released because it's a classic and still has some horror elements to it. I don't consider it to be a horror film but of course that is only my opinion and I'm sure people will disagree with me and I'm fine with that. That's why I love discussions/debates about it because I find other's opinions to be very intersting and I could end up saying" Wow! I never saw it that way before."

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Wasn't Drag Me To Hell PG-13? I feel like it was. That was good. But yeah generally aiming for PG-13 horror means more than just leaving out boobs and blood. More often than not it seems to mean dumbing down the plot and just throwing in a few extra slang-words that actual 13 year olds never use.
