Whoa there, calm down fella.optmusprimenumber wrote:Molesting chickens is awesome! If they made a Link's Chicken Molestation Training stand-alone game, I'd totally get it, and if it used the Wii's motion controls that would be the shit. Think about it, sodomizing chickens with a boomerang with the motion plus sensing every move you make... in, out, in, out, in, twist... maybe even some chicken slapping... the possibilities are ENDLESS. Get some cocks in there too and give'em an old fashioned HJ. Fuck it... chickens, pigs, horses... the series has provided us with a whole plethora of barnyard animals to potentially molest. COME ON NINTENDO, make animal molestation an everyday household family activity! That's my vote.
...Oh... I tend to not prefer the 2D games over the 3D games, or vise versa. I've enjoyed them all.

Why? They aren't bad games by any means. They're some of the best 3D games out there. I can see why you'd prefer the 2D games, but not even playing a 3D one? That's just crazy.

Finally, someone has thought up a truly innovative motion control game where you sodomize chickens while enjoying some high-octane chicken slapping. The system works.CFFJR wrote:Whoa there, calm down fella.optmusprimenumber wrote:Molesting chickens is awesome! To understand this you have to look at the general 2d vs 3d debate.YoshiEgg25 wrote:final fight cd wrote: but, i have never played a 3d zelda game and don't really care to.

Many people generally find 2d gamers easier to play but with the 3d games you do most everything in a 2d game but the added camera adds complexity.
You only have to see on the Wii New Super Mario Bros sold a lot better than Mario Galaxy 2.
While I personally do play the 3d Zelda's I still feel more at home with the 2d ones and 2d games in general.
Re: The Legend of Zelda - 2D vs. 3D
I gave it a chance, bought it even twice JP(includes Tetra's Trackers) and US version myself is from Germany. And I even like it.It has a very good single player mode. Why don't any Zelda fans give this one a chance?
I actually played the game and don't get me wrong it is a great game indeed but it lacks of a connected overworld (has separated levels) and side quests like the before mentioned wandering around the countryside, fishing, etc. are missing too which results in less atmosphere an absolute no go in an adventure. On the other hand it has the most advanced 2D graphics (including effects like reflexions, shadows of the bypassing clouds, fog, etc. creating a nice mood) seen in any Zelda game which is great. It also introduces a lot of puzzles new to the series that really enrich the gameplay. But then most of the boss fights which usually are a big deal in the Zelda games were absolutely plain gameplay-wise apart from a few stray exceptions. Furthermore it has no real plot, no twists not even slightly eleborated npcs. It is a great multiplayer experience like most of Nintendo's games and is even a good game at all but in my opinion by no means a great singleplayer Zelda experience.Anyone that thumbs their nose at Four Swords Adventures needs to rethink their stance and actually play the damn game. It is like a Link to the Past on crack. It's all the parts of Zelda I love and none of the wandering around the countryside, fishing and molesting chickens.
Re: The Legend of Zelda - 2D vs. 3D
The 3D games are a different game. That's not to say they're bad; Far from it, but when comparing them side-by-side I've logged more hours and gotten more fun from the 2D ones. Poll a high-school and they'll tell you differently. If you want a true successor to the 2D games just go to the Zelda Classic forums and inquire about what quest you really want. I guarantee they've made it or are working on it. If not they'll help you make what you want in short order. As far as 3D ones go, I had severe camera problems, and the fairy thing pestered me "link! Listen!" and couldn't be shut off. I'm sure the game is very fun when you get into it, but after 2 bosses I was done.
Edit:
Don't forget about the hacked BS zelda roms too. Both the NES Legend of Zelda has been remade on the SNES and hacked to play on original hardware, but there's a new Link To The Past rom recently released that continues the LTTP Super Nintendo quest and was designed by most of the original team:

I think the latest files are elsewhere, but I played through it a while ago. Awesome game. Pm me for help if you need it.
Guess I'm biased but the poll already seems to be decided anyway.
